The Easter bunny did come to our house, clearly as evidenced by the tracks he left. We had a wonderful time this year with Jennifer here all weekend.
Auntie is super cool for a lot of reasons. This weekend one of the highlights was getting to play Vegas slots on her phone. That turned into them learning blackjack. Then Nate got in on the action and before I knew it everyone was sitting a round at 9:00 PM playing Vegas slots on various Apple equipment. I have warned Jennifer that if either one of them, Nate included, develop a gambling addiction she is paying for their counseling.
Mom also came for the festivities for the day on Saturday. She got her haircut (way too short in her opinion, but it could be 6 feet long and still not be too long in her eyes) she was really tired after a full day of haircut, Easter egg hunt, and Easter dinner. We even threw in a game of Uno. I had to be very clear what the situation was when it came to her turn "Ok, mom. We need either a two or a yellow." Even then she would get a bit confused, but we had a good laugh and she had fun. By the time pie was done, she was ready to go home but had a great time having her at our house.
